Reserva de Salinas – Montaña Dorada

Join us on this exciting adventure where we will explore the Salinas Lagoon with the impressive Uzuña Dam, a tour that during the rainy season creates a spectacular water mirror, perfect for taking amazing themed photos with dinosaurs and beer bottles. We will also explore Lojen, where we will observe a mini volcano and enjoy hot springs.

Tour details:

• Number of tourists: Shared for groups of 20 to 28 people (depending on the season), or private upon request.
• Hotel pickup time: Between 6:00 a.m. and 6:15 a.m.
• Duration: Full Day
• End time: 5:30 p.m. (Moral Street with Santa Catalina).

Itinerary:

• 5:40 a.m. - 6:20 a.m.: Pickup of passengers at the main square and hotels in the city center.
• 6:30 a.m.: We begin the journey to Salinas Lagoon, making stops along the way.
• 7:00 a.m.: Visit to the Volcanoes Viewpoint in Chiguata for photos. From there, we will be able to see the representative volcanoes of Arequipa, and afterwards, we will arrive in Chiguata, where we will enjoy a delicious breakfast.
• 9:30 a.m.: Arrival at Salinas Lagoon where we will have a spectacular view of the reserve, then we will enter the salt flat, where we will take photos with perspective in the water mirrors and we will have the opportunity to go on quad bike and kayak tours to view Andean flamingos.
• 11:00 a.m.We continue our journey through the town of Salinas until we reach the Mini Volcano of Logen, where we can relax in the rustic hot springs. We will also be able to see vicuñas, llamas, and alpacas in their natural habitat.
• 12:30 p.m.: Lunch with Arequipean dishes at the Tacuni countryside restaurant.
• 2:00 p.m.: Sightseeing of vicuñas along the route, and the return journey to Chiguata, heading to the Main Square where the traditional Espíritu Santo Church is located.
• 5:30 p.m.: Return to the city and arrival near the Main Square.
